Greetings all,
I would like to thank Pastor Manda for her hospitality and a wonderful
meditative Eucharist.  I felt more relaxed the rest of the day.

I also want to share my deep appreciation for the "out of the box" team and
the great and energizing conversation and discussion, and for the
invitations to most of the churches to join in.  This is a great start, and
I hope that all of the pastors in our parish can mark their calendars for
Thursday, October 2 at noon.  We will be gathering at Hope Lutheran in
Santa Clara, and continuing the discussion around our vision for our
ministry in the Santa Clara Valley.

Please don't forget the budget discussions this weekend, and the District
gathering/synod assembly continued on Saturday, October 11 at Grace
Lutheran in Palo Alto.  Also remember Professional Leader's Conference
October 14-16 in Squaw Valley.  There are scholarship funds available
through Jose Luis at the synod office.
