Dear colleagues of the Santa Clara Valley Lutheran Parish:

If you are like me, you are probably knee-deep in Lenten Services/Easter Pl=
anning/Income-tax prep, and now there is one more thing we have to attend t=
o: the upcoming synod assembly. Since the assembly will take place in Burli=
ngame , the planning committee is looking to the 3 conferences closest to B=
urlingame to assists with local arrangements, which includes our Santa Clar=
a Valley Lutheran Parish
=A0
Basically, it takes about 50 volunteers to support the assembly. MaryAnne F=
iene is the overall co-coordinator for the volunteers and she is looking fo=
r a team mate. That person would need to help recruit people, and most of a=
ll that person would need to be present on May 15 at the Assembly since Mar=
y Anne cannot be present that day. Also, it would be helpful if that person=
 could come for a short time on either Fri or Sat May 13 and 14.

If there is such a person in your congregation who could help with this, pl=
ease let us know right away.
