Dear colleagues of the Santa Clara Valley Lutheran Parish:

 

If you are like me, you are probably knee-deep in Lenten Services/Easter
Planning/Income-tax prep, and now there is one more thing we have to attend
to: the upcoming synod assembly. Since the assembly will take place in
Burlingame, the planning committee is looking to the 3 conferences closest
to Burlingame to assists with local arrangements, which includes our Santa
Clara Valley Lutheran Parish

 

Basically, it takes about 50 volunteers to support the assembly. MaryAnne
Fiene is the overall co-coordinator for the volunteers and she is looking
for a team mate. That person would need to help recruit people, and most of
all that person would need to be present on May 15 at the Assembly since
Mary Anne cannot be present that day. Also, it would be helpful if that
person could come for a short time on either Fri or Sat May 13 and 14.

 

If there is such a person in your congregation who could help with this,
please let us know right away.
