conversation that I thought it would be great to get it out to you all in
preparation for our next First Thursday on September 4th -- noon - 2:00

Great discussion this week. Below is my best attempt at capturing what we
discussed.


I placed the outreach list at the top so you can easily remember who you
are inviting to Sept 4th First Thursday.


The section entitled *Discussion Summary / What we want to achieve *may
help when you call the pastors. Saying something like:


*Draft Script: As a group we've been charged with discussing how we might
work collaboratively to connect our congregations/members and impact the
community by sharing resources with the goal of being a more vital
progressive Christian (Lutheran) presence in the Valley. At our next
meeting we will present our ideas but more importantly we need you to join
the conversation. Will you commit to being present on Sept 4th? (time and
location?)*


The section entitled* Presentation at Sept 4th* includes a number of
questions we generated for the group to discuss. We can't discuss all the
questions, I believe it needs to be paired down!


*Suggestion: It may be helpful to give let people know that we will send
the discussion questions in advance and ask them to think about them and
also what dreams and visions God has for God's people that inspires them.*
