Hi all!

Charles (Chuck) L. Rassieur, retired pastoral counselor and author of  
"I Have a Plan: A Pastor's Guide to Counseling Troubled Marriages" by  
Westminster John Knox Press will be attending the SCLVP "1st Tuesday"  
on February 3 @ Los Altos Lutheran 460 S. El Monte Ave, Los Altos  
Hills, CA 94022 (650.948.3012) for a 3 hr workshop from 12-3 pm on  
counseling Troubled Marriages.  Come and learn his 'plan'  developed  
in collaboration with Professor William Smith of Luther Northwestern  
Theological Seminary, now Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota.   
For those who can attend, we'll begin @ 11 am for devotions led by  
Dave Bonde followed by bag lunch & check in.  The workshop itself  
will begin promptly at 12 and end by 3 pm.

I have been to Chuck's workshop and have used his book.  I found it  
very helpful with couples.  I know 3 hours may seem a lot, but if you  
can walk away feeling confident enough to actually put the plan into  
action, it's 3 hours well spent.  I myself got a call just 3 days  
after I attended the workshop and was working with a couple within  
the next week.  The 3 hours were invaluable.

The workshop is free.  The book is necessary.  I will make a bulk  
order on Jan 13, 2009.  So, if you would like me to include you in  
this buy, please let me know ASAP.  After this date, you will have to  
get the book on your own.  You will NOT need the book prior to the  
workshop.  That is when I will bring you the ones I order.
