Encompass - a Homeless Ministry
in the El Camino Real Conference

Then the righteous will answer him, “Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink?” … And the King will answer them, “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.” (Matthew 25:37,40)

The Encompass Ministry is proposed as a ministry of Word and Sacrament to the homeless of the Santa Clara Valley not adequately served in conventional congregational settings. The following links are panels of a presentation describing the the challenges, the services already in place, and the proposed ministry.

The hope is that the congregations of the El Camino Real Conference will pledge financial support for the Encompass Ministry.
