Hi all,
This is a letter and appeal from the dean of the Redwood conference. I
believe it is self explanatory. If anyone can help please contact her
directly.
Thanks for your consideration.
Blessings

Hi, Anne,

I hope things are going well for you in these days leading up to summer!
I'm sorry to have missed the deans gathering last week -- it often seems
that traveling down there frequently is difficult for me.

I have a question -- my almost-24-year-old daughter, Wren, has recently
left her nearly two year position as Office Manager of Seminary Relations
at PLTS/CLU, under Brian Stein-Webber, in order to attend Santa Clara
University in the fall in pursuit of a Master's in Counseling Psychology.
She wants to be a therapist. She also plans to transfer her skills to
similar employment at the university or another organization while she
pursues her degree.

She has found three other young women, and they all seem to get along
well. They are searching for a house to rent near the University.
Competition is tight, and so far, they haven't been successful, but they
all passed a credit check.

Might you have any thoughts or suggestions for them, or might you share
their information below with the pastors or congregations in your
conference? Any help you might be able to offer is much appreciated.
Brian and others will provide a strong reference for Wren, and her
roommates can provide references as well.

Thanks so much, Anne!

Peace in Christ,

Jeri

About Us

< Bridget was previously a nanny for 4 years. She started while she was in
school at UC Berkeley studying Industrial Engineering and Operations
Research. After graduating in the spring of 2013, she decided to take some
time for herself and spent the year nannying for the same family and
climbing as much as she could. A few months ago she landed her dream job as
the Assistant Manager at Planet Granite Sunnyvale, which is why she is
moving to the South Bay.

> Allison graduated from Cal Poly, SLO with a degree in English and
continued on in the teaching credential program at Cal Poly. She student
taught in a 6th grade classroom from September 2012-December 2012, and
continued on as the long-term substitute in the same classroom for the rest
of the year. She just finished her first year of teaching in Los Altos,
working in a 6th grade classroom teaching Language Arts and Social Studies.
Allison has also been a tennis coach during the summers for the last eight
years at Gunn High School in Palo Alto.

< Tricia is originally from the Chicagoland area and graduated from
Michigan State University with a major in Applied Engineering Sciences and
a minor in Dance. After graduating in May 2012 she moved to the Bay area
for a Operations leadership development program where she rotated through
the roles of manufacturing engineer, production supervisor, and purchasing
project lead. She is temporarily living in Chicago for a six month
assignment and will be moving back to San Jose in July for a long term role
as Engineering Project Manager with the same company. Tricia also enjoys
teaching dance and taking dance classes in her free time.

> Wren graduated from California Lutheran University with a bachelor=E2=80=

degree in psychology in May 2012. She wasn=E2=80=99t quite sure what career=
 path
she wanted right out of college, so took a job as the office manager in the
development office of Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary (Berkeley). Her
student work experience as an office assistant for 3 years helped with
that. While she was working there, she discovered that her real passion is
communication and relationships. She applied to Santa Clara University with
the goal of becoming a marriage and family therapist and incorporating
animals, and was accepted! So she=E2=80=99s making the move from the north =

the south bay after taking some time off in the summer for a couple of
trips and a week-long camp she=E2=80=99s volunteered at since 2009.
