Greetings Colleagues
I am very sorry that I was not able to attend First Thursday last week. I
had a pastoral emergency that arose suddenly.
It sounds as though there was some good discussion and some lingering
questions. I am just curious where we are as a parish with regards to
Pueblo support? What were the next steps that we as a parish decided on?
There will be a (third) meeting between Prince of Peace's executive council
and Pueblo's council on the 18th of November at 7pm at Pueblo. Any or all
of you are welcome to attend. Our agenda is threefold:
1. to continue to inspire the leadership of Pueblo to have a vision/mission
for their ministry.
2. to check in with Eduardo regarding his discernment with the Synod
3. to review the metrics we have encouraged them to pursue regarding
church business structure...metrics such as establishing a budget, regular
council meetings, growth plans, and close contact with their supporters.
I invite any or all questions you may have regarding PoP's involvement with
Pueblo! I love coffee and can meet in person if any of you are interested!!
Also, *please save the date* for our SCVLP Christmas Party at Prince of
Peace. It will be on December 6th in the evening. Details and invites to
follow later this week!!
Respectfully,
Sara Pearson
