Hi all!

Charles (Chuck) L. Rassieur is retired pastoral counselor and author  
of "I Have a Plan: A Pastor's Guide to Counseling Troubled Marriages"  
by Westminster John Knox Press.  Chuck will come to our 1st Tuesday  
on February 3 @ Los Altos Lutheran 460 S. El Monte Ave, Lost Altos  
Hills, CA 94022 (650.948.3012) for a 3 hr workshop to get to know  
this 'plan'  developed in collaboration with Professor William Smith  
of Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary, now Luther Seminary in  
St. Paul, Minnesota.  We will begin our time together at 11 am for  
devotions led by Dave Bonde followed by bag lunch/check in.  The  
workshop will begin promptly at 12 and end by 3 pm.

I have been to Chuck's workshop and used his book.  I found it very  
helpful with couples.  I know 3 hours may seem a lot, but if you can  
walk away feeling confident enough to actually put the plan into  
action, it's 3 hours well spent.  I myself got a call just 3 days  
after I attended the workshop and was working with a couple within  
the next week.  The 3 hours were invaluable.

The workshop is free.  The book is necessary.  We talked about buying  
in bulk.  I'll be glad to take on that task.  Let me know if you want  
a book by Jan 10, 2009.  After this date, you will have to get the  
book on your own.  You won't need them until the day of the  
workshop.  That is when I will bring you the ones I order.
