Dear Colleagues:
This coming Tuesday, March 31, we will have a Pastor's gathering in place of
our usual "1st Tuesday Gathering in April" - too many people had a conflict
with April 7.
Our Gathering will take place at 11:30 a.m.
at Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

We will follow our regular format, starting with joint prayer and Holy
Communion, followed by a time of sharing.
Then we were hoping to address as our topic of the day the following two
documents:

Background:
Both of these documents were released on Feb. 19, 2009 by the Task Force for
ELCA Studies on Sexuality and will be reviewed by the Church Council at its
meeting in Chicago, March 27-30, 2009.
Most likely there will be resolutions related to these documents at the
upcoming synod assembly.
In preparation for our discussion, you might want to read the documents
themselves,
but if you are pressed for time, there are also "executive summaries" of
these two documents, along with some "frequently asked questions".
