Now that the biggest secular holiday is over, we can turn our attention
what is fast approaching --
There will not be 1st Thursday this month in recognition and respect for
two much more exciting and celebratory events.

Friday, Feb. 6, Cristina Beauchemin will be ordained and installed as the
pastor of New Creation Lutheran Church, 7:00 PM with celebrations to follow.

Sunday, Feb. 8, Jim Clark-Moore will be ordained and installed as associate
pastor of Hope Lutheran Church, 2:00 PM with a BBQ to follow.  Please RSVP
if you are staying for the BBQ.

These are the first ordinations in this parish in a very long time.  I
anticipate that you all will join in the celebration.  Please plan to vest
in red.
