Please let the people at St. Luke know how many of you will be coming to the
Fall Assembly. They are preparing a BBQ for us and need to know how many to
prepare for.

The Fall Assembly of the Santa Clara Valley Lutheran Parish will take place 

on Saturday, October 11, at 3:00 p.m. 

at St. Luke Lutheran Church 

at 1025 The Dallas, Sunnyvale, CA 94087. 

 

The agenda includes 

*	Meeting with our new bishop, Mark Holmerud. Since this is an
opportunity to meet our new bishop, all church members are invited to
attend, even though only your delegates will be able to vote. 

      For this reason, please be sure to advertise this event in your
congregation.

 

*	Nominations and Resolutions for Synod Assembly 2009 for District D
(Peninsula, Santa Clara Valley, Monterey Bay Conferences)

1.	Synod Council Lay Female (Gisela Daetz incumbent; eligible for
election)
2.	Witness & Service Discipling Team (Michael O'Berg incumbent;
ineligible 4 election)

*	We'll conclude with a BBQ
