Easter greetings to all, 
I hope all your Easters were as bright and beautiful as the day. 
This is an early reminder about 1st Thursday on April 7th. Hope Lutheran is hosting, and Derek Engfelt agreed to facilitate the gathering, as I will be away. 
There will be a presentation and discussion led by Jim Clark-Moore on Encompass ministry. 
There is also one piece of business: the synod has allotted 2 open voting member slots to each conference/parish. Both slots are to be filled with a lay member who is any combination of the following: under 35, male or female, person of color or first language other than English. One of the openings will be paid for from Parish funds, and the other may come from any congregation under 150 in membership which is willing to pay for an extra voting member, from their congregation. Please be prepared to nominate an individual for the parish-wide slot, and volunteer a congregation who will fill the other. 

If this is clear as mud, let me know, or wait until the gathering and sort it out.
