Hi -

In addition to the events on Sunday, January 24th at Immanuel
in Los Altos and Monday at Denney's, I'm pleased to announce
that we're having a very casual potluck dinner with Pr. Erbes
of LIRS at Christ the Good Shepherd in San Jose at 5:30 pm on
Sunday the 24th.  If you're not able to make it to the Monday
gathering, this is another opportunity to say thanks for his
organization's work.  Since this is a potluck and we have
plenty of space, please feel free to spread the word to folks
who might be interested.  If you plan to attend, let me know
so we set up enough tables and chairs.

Hi All, 
My congregation's social ministry committee has scheduled a refugee themed Sunday on Jan 24. To lead that we'll have Pr Paul Erbes of Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service from the DC area at our place. Paul has written us wondering if it would be possible to get together with other pastors in our conference to talk about the work of LIRS and give some updates on the refugee crisis. Unfortunately, he's only got a short time in our area, but would like to offer hosting a breakfast or lunch on Monday, Jan 25. He has suggested the Denny's at 910 Saratoga in San Jose as a meeting spot. (Or another alternative?) I'm copying him in and you all can reply about interest and availability.
